The main responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Clerk include acquiring and processing invoices, assisting in the reconciliation of accounts, and paying or receiving payment from vendors and customers

• Posts and runs the accounts payable checks
• Update and maintain payroll records
• Processing a high volume of invoices
• Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
• Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports, recording entries.
