For over thirty years, AtWork has built upon its core foundation of meeting and exceeding the expectations of our clients and candidates. Established in 1986 by John Hall, AtWork launched to serve the marketplace. After growing to 11 offices, he began laying the groundwork for franchising and by 1992, he opened his first franchise in Decatur, Alabama and the AtWork Corporate Office opened.

In the meantime, Kelly Young was serving as the Divisional Vice President for a competing staffing agency. Determined she could make an impact in this industry, Kelly joined the AtWork Team by opening her first office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

From there, KR Young Staffing Group became the quickest office to bill in AtWork Personnel’s Franchise history. Within the first five months of opening, her franchise was able to hit the Bronze Category Award. Kelly’s company continued to break records. By the end of their first year, KR Young Staffing Group became the highest billing office in AtWork Personnel’s Franchise History and won the “Rising Star” award.

KR Young Staffing Group did not stop growing after 2017. In 2018, Kelly’s agency beat their previous year’s record and received the Silver category award. As time continued, KR Staffing Group’s sales grew exponentially! From 2017 to 2018, KR Young Staffing Group’s sales increased by 330%.

As we continue to grow in numbers, we are growing in team members and regions. By 2021, Kelly Young has opened 2 more offices in Arizona and expanded our Texas territory from Tyler to Irving. As of now, Kelly is a proud leader of 26 team members and growing.

We have made it our personal mission to help individual’s find a job that will not only fulfill their livelihood, but also provide job satisfaction. As a staffing agency, we are ready and willing to meet the needs of our community – employee and employer.

Some of our positions will be posted on our website. We also maintain a “hot job” line with a listing of positions we are currently filling. These two locations will list a portion of the jobs we have open but are not a complete listing.
We realize that not every job is a good fit for you, sometimes you do not know that until you have tried the position.  If you are on an assignment and find it is not going to work for you, we will ask that you contact us immediately. You may be asked to stay at an assignment long enough for us to find a replacement, but we will attempt to remedy the situation as quickly as possible. As with any interaction, communication is the key. We expect open communication from our field employees and they can expect the same from the AtWork Medical office.
AtWork has a check-in line which applicants are encouraged to use to maintain availability. You will be asked to leave your name, phone number, and what type of work you are interested in. We realize that it is not always convenient for you to check in on a daily basis, you are simply encouraged to stay in touch with our office so we are aware of your availability.
You will need to come into our office and fill out an application. You will be asked to provide complete work history information as well as asked preference of shift, type of work and preference of location. After the application is complete, you will interview with a staffing manager. In the interview, you will have the opportunity to discuss what vocational skills you have and what you are looking for in your next position. The staffing manager will discuss not only what specific skills you have, but also find out more about your experiences in job-related settings. Once you have completed the interview, you will go through basic safety training and, for office and professional positions, may be asked to do some computer testing to determine skill levels. AtWork Medical does reference checks with previous employers and other references provided by applicants. Once reference information is complete, you will be offered jobs based on all the factors of your interview process.
