Project Accountant - Blue Heron Job Available in Las Vegas Nevada

Project Accountant – $55-60K, plus Bonus

Exceptional company in the Construction Industry in search of a Project Accountant to join the growing Accounting and Finance Team. This is a fully On-Site position. The ideal candidate will have experience in either construction, development, real estate, or a combination thereof. The primary responsibility of the Project Accountant will be to work collaboratively with the Project Managers and Project Team, preparing draw packages for clients and ongoing projects.

Compensation: $55-60K plus yearly bonus, and a generous benefits package to include 401K & company match.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly draw packages for assigned clients and projects, to include job cost reconciliation, budget-to-draw updates, change orders and restricted cash accounts.
• Work collaboratively with Project Managers and project teams to ensure alignment on draws, budgets, change orders, etc.
• Ability to exhibit and maintain exemplary level of customer service to internal and external customers, vendors and trade partners.
• Ability to review and interpret revenue and cost of goods journal entries.
• Ability to review and interpret profitability and job costing reports.
• Job Cost reconciliation and accruals.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-4 years' experience in accounting or finance within construction, development or real estate industries.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sage 300 CRE.
• Experience with Job Cost reconciliation and accruals.
• Strong Understanding of Accounts Payable Process.
• Experience with Sage 300CRE Paperless, Procore,  Homefront, and BuildPro preferred.
