Accounting Manager – General Ledger – Hotel – Casino – Gaming – 85K/Bonus

IMMEDIATE Need for an Accounting Manger, General Ledger to lead  the GL team, primarily in the area of fixed assets, capital assets and cash accounting.  This is a traditional GL role in regard to overseeing the departments GL journal entries, reconciliations, recommending and implementing process and systems improvements and efficiencies.  The ideal candidate will be a supervisor or manager with a minimum of 2 – 4 years supervisory experience, and a background that includes hiring, training, and evaluating staff.  

Main Duties:

• Monthly and Annual GL Close
• Monthly Financial Statement Reporting Packages
• Engaging with Third Party Audti Function, including Independent Public Accountants and Regulatory Agencies
• Financial Reporting, i.e, Cash Flow & Cash Position Analysis, Depreciation Rates as Applied to Capital Assets, Balance Sheets, P&L, etc.
• Maintenance of Internal Controls, MICS, ICS, Policies & Procedures, etc. 
• Hiring, Training, Scheduling, Supervising, Performance Evaluations, Establishing Goals & Objectives

• Bachelor's Degree
• CPA Preferred 
• Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Front of House Casino & Hotel Operations
