Inventory Accountant – Hotel Gaming Experience – 80-90K

Looking for an Inventory Accountant with Casino Hotel Retail experience.  This position will report to the Executive Director of Purchasing and will cover multiple properties in Las Vegas.  We are looking for someone with experience in monthly close of retail inventory, and preferably Stratton Warren or RedRock Software experience. 

Compensation: 80 – 90K 

Duties:
  • Tracking and reporting on property retail inventory balances
  • Review and approval of variances
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Overseeing Journal Entries
  • Review of Income Statements and Cost of Goods Sold
  • Responds to inquiries regarding internal and external retail inventory accounting issues
  • Collaborates with retail inventory counterparts, i.e., buying, inventory control, and accounts payable to ensure efficient transaction flow.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required
  • Ability to unload freight, to move product on and off of store shelves, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods of time, and to move freely throughout store on a continual basis required
  • Basic English literacy and math skills required
