Receiving Clerk Job Available in Las Vegas Nevada

We are seeking a meticulous and organized Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic team. The Receiving Clerk will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and efficient receipt of goods and materials essential to our manufacturing and operational processes. This role demands a keen attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Shift: Mon-Fri 6AM-2:30PM Mon-Fri
Pay: $15.00/hour to start and goes up to $16/hour after 90 days.  

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving Operations: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of materials, parts, and equipment against purchase orders or packing slips. Ensure accuracy and completeness of deliveries, promptly resolving any discrepancies or issues.

2. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage and organization of received materials. Collaborate with the inventory team to conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.

3. Quality Control: Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on received materials to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications. Identify and report any quality concerns or non-conformances to the appropriate stakeholders.

4. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Generate receiving documents, such as receiving reports, packing slips, and delivery notes. Maintain thorough and up-to-date records of all incoming shipments, including serial numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates where applicable.

5. Communication and Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments, including purchasing, production, and logistics, to coordinate receiving activities and facilitate the timely delivery of materials to designated locations. Communicate effectively with vendors and carriers to resolve shipment-related issues and inquiries.

6. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing receiving tasks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies governing the receipt, handling, and storage of materials.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in supply chain management or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a receiving or warehouse environment, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and proficiency in using computerized tools for data entry and record-keeping.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to identify and address discrepancies effectively.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across different teams and communicate with external stakeholders.
