Production Mixer / Batch Maker
Location: West Phoenix
Shift: 1st Shift | Pay Rate: $21.00

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Production Mixer / Batch Maker to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for mixing and blending raw materials according to batch ticket instructions, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and follow daily production schedules and batch ticket instructions accurately.

• Weigh or measure raw materials using both manual and automated equipment.

• Operate machines to mix or blend ingredients for specified durations as directed.

• Collect material samples, deliver them to the lab, and perform quality control tests per specifications.

• Maintain and clean mixers, equipment, and designated work areas.

• Operate production machinery including mixers, forklifts, and pallet jacks.

• Wear required PPE (steel/composite toe boots, safety glasses, gloves, respirators as needed).

• Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any malfunctions to a supervisor.

• Accurately complete and maintain required written documentation.

• Communicate any issues affecting safety or product quality immediately to supervisors or management.

• Maintain an organized and safe workspace by properly storing supplies and materials.

• Support team members and supervisors with general production tasks as needed.

• Load and unload tractor trailers efficiently and safely.

Key Competencies:

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

• Physically capable of frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and bending.

• Able to lift up to 100 lbs.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing Experience: 3 years preferred

• Mixing/Batch Making Experience: 2 years required
