HR Generalist
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $48,000 – $52,000 (DOE)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This is a hands-on role responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, payroll processing, and full-cycle HR administration. This position will also oversee an HR Assistant and is designed to grow into a future HR Manager role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle HR functions including hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and terminations
• Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies
• Maintain and audit employee records, documentation, and HR files
• Manage compliance-sensitive tasks including leave administration, disability accommodations, and employment records
• Follow established processes and SOPs with a high level of accuracy and consistency
• Provide guidance and support to employees and leadership teams
• Supervise and support the HR Assistant
• Take ownership of tasks from start to finish with strong follow-through

Qualifications:

• Prior hands-on HR experience with strong administrative responsibility
• Strong understanding of HR compliance processes and documentation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle process-driven work without errors
• Strong judgment and willingness to verify information before acting
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Supervisory or management experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with BambooHR
• Payroll experience
• HRCI certification (aPHR or PHR)
