As you finish strong in 2021, make sure you take time for yourself. As we have all endured new challenges this year and we continue to push forward toward bigger and better things, self care becomes even more important.
One question to ask as you enter the holiday season is, “What brings a smile to your face? What warms your heart?”
By answering those two questions, you can make your own list of self-care musts for the holiday time. Here is a list of ideas for joy-filled moments to re-energize you in December:
-Enjoy a 30-second dance party.
– Watch a funny movie or video.
-Bake and decorate with loved ones.
-Say an affirmation such as, “I am blessed, loved and, healthy.”
-Count your blessings; it’s never as bad as we think!
-Have some fine quality chocolate!
-Do something nice for a neighbor, colleague, or friend.
-Try a guided meditation.
-Sit around a fire with family/friends and play Christmas music.
