Job Details

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to keep financial records, prepare reports, and update financial information. We are looking for someone who is familiar with accounting procedures and processing. 

Responsibilities
  • Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
  • Create and update expense reports
  • Process reimbursement forms
  • Prepare bank deposits
  • Enter financial transactions into internal databases
  • Check spreadsheets for accuracy
  • Maintain digital and physical financial records
  • Issue invoices to customers and external partners, as needed
  • Review and file payroll documents
  • Participate in quarterly and annual audits
Ideal Candidate will have…
  • Two to three years of proven accounting experience
  • Experience with handling both Accounts Payable and Receivables 
  • Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
Salary:  $16.00 – $18.00/Hour

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required
  • Ability to unload freight, to move product on and off of store shelves, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods of time, and to move freely throughout store on a continual basis required
  • Basic English literacy and math skills required
