Collections Specialist Job Available in Las Vegas Nevada

We are looking for a Collections Specialist In this position you will be responsible for the collection of delinquent balances of customers within a predetermined business segment aligned to a geographic location.

Responsibilities Include:

• Analyze delinquent accounts and prepare reports on highest risk accounts including recommendations for resolution.
• Update and maintain asset reports
• Negotiate payment arrangements.
• Resolve customer issues that inhibit payments.
• Reconcile transactions and balances to maintain accurate accounts.
• Maintain a daily work queue to bring delinquency ratio within target ranges.
• Coordinate billing with Accounting.
• Monitor receivables and collections providing updates to Collection Manager/Management using appropriate reporting procedures.
• Document all communications with customers in the Collections Plus system.
• Advise Collection Manager/Management of problematic accounts that will need to be assigned out for repossession and/or potential litigation.
• Daily telephone and written contact with customers and vendors regarding status of collateral.
• Respond to customer inquiries and requests for documentation.

Ideal Candidates will have:

• 2 years of collections experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel
• Works well independently, including implementing the proper tactics and handling of large accounts.
• Must have effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills required.
