Electrical Engineer

Seeking an Electrical Engineer with a P.E. Designation, for a Luxury Homebuilder, renowned for their award-winning, high-end designs. This role will report to the Director of Architecture and Engineering and will be instrumental in building out the Engineering Department, which had previously been outsourced.   This organization prides itself in offering a solid opportunity for career advancement with multiple avenues for future growth.

Compensation: $110K plus benefits!

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ residential electrical engineering project experience; and be able to drive project schedules in a timely and budget friendly methodology. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail is a must.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Commitment to project schedules.
• Lead project teams
• Value Engineer leadership when budget and design are misaligned.
• Responsible for Leadership, initial engineering analysis, P&L, setting projections, hiring & training, electrical design, specifications, drawings, detailing, calculations, construction admin, setting and maintaining project schedules, and requirements for permitting and construction.
• Develop and maintain interactive professional dialogue and relationships with stakeholders and project team members.
• Strong graphic, design, and verbal presentation skills.
• AutoCAD/Revit drawing production and documentation of multiple projects
• Utilize schematic design, 3D model coordination, construction documents, and detailing skills.
• Quality Assurance and Quality Control for all aspects during the design process; coordinating with internal and external teams.
• Collaboration with engineering, interior, architecture, and production teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Nevada Electrical P.E. required as well as the ability to gain P.E. reciprocity in additional states.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• High level construction knowledge and ability to effectively communicate with Construction Managers.
• Minimum 5 year's residential electrical design experience in Home Building Industry
• Permit experience and knowledge of applicable building codes, construction process, codes, and terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with a focus in Microsoft Project
