In search of a Property Maintenance Technician for the Dallas, Texas area. Apply with AtWork Personnel today!

Full time! Monday through Friday 8am-5pm! Rate of pay is $25 an hour!

Position responsibilities:
  • Administer all necessary services to maintain and enhance the value, operating efficiency, and physical appearance of property.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and unscheduled building repairs and general maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC related equipment.
  • Respond to tenant calls regarding heating, cooling problems and building emergencies. 
  • Maintain an accurate log of daily activities including maintenance and repair information in accordance with guidelines established by management.
  • Understand OSHA guidelines and how to ensure equipment is maintained to guidelines.
  • Maintain productivity-enhancing communications and working relationships with tenants, co-workers and management.
  • Other duties as required and assigned. 
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or institutional buildings with complex mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to understand read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required
  • Ability to unload freight, to move product on and off of store shelves, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods of time, and to move freely throughout store on a continual basis required
  • Basic English literacy and math skills required
