Financial Analyst

Looking for a Financial Analyst with 2- 3 years Casino Gaming experience. This is a hybrid role, offering Monday and Friday as a work from home option. The ideal candidate will have experience in Casino Gaming. The primary responsibility of the Financial Analyst will be to work collaboratively with the Finance, Human Resources, Property Leadership and Marketing Team.

Compensation: 70-78K, plus a generous benefits package to include 401K with company match, and additional company perks.

Responsibilities:

Assist, or lead, in the development of highly dynamic, decision-informing models designed to support a rapidly evolving business. Subject areas include but are not limited to: Operational forecasting, Financial analysis and budgeting, Customer segmentation, Tracking of capital expenditures, Financial reporting and modeling, Labor modeling and optimization, and Slot machine and table game performance.
 

• Assist in developing standard reporting packages that effectively inform direct stakeholders on key business indicators.
• Assist in achieving foundational objectives, including the identification and diagnosis of key business issues, development of solutions, and timely and seamless execution.
• Take on a day-to-day role in the annual budget and forecast process. Work closely with senior executives and Property Leadership for the development of business plans.
• Prepare, interpret and present analysis of monthly financial results and key issues with recommendations to property leaders and senior management.
• Design and standardize reports and queries.
• Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• Perform research and analysis to identify and quantify market trends.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in financial analysis or accounting, within the Gaming, Casino/Hospitality Industry
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field required.
• Experience building and conducting Financial, Labor, and ad hoc analysis. Foundational knowledge of accounting preferred.
• Strong experience with operational and capital budgets, financial reporting, and capital expenditures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience building financial models.
• Experience with enterprise reporting systems, relational databases, SQL programming, or statistical analysis tools a plus.
• Experience with financial reporting systems.
• Strong Understanding of Accounts Payable Process.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and anticipate business needs, develop methods for meeting those needs, and deliver actionable results in a concise manner.
• Fast learner of business models, programs, concepts and architectures.
• Able to translate simple inquiries into complex analysis that are translated back into simple and straightforward results.
• Comfortable presenting internally as needed.
