NOW HIRING: Floor Tech – Healthcare Facility | Tyler, TX
Pay: $16/hr – Weekly Pay
Shifts Available:
– 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Sunday–Thursday
– 9:00 PM – 5:30 AM | Sunday–Thursday

Join our growing healthcare facility in Tyler, TX as a Floor Tech and help us maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
– Clean, buff, strip, and wax floors in patient rooms, hallways, and common areas
– Perform regular sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care routines
– Operate floor equipment (buffers, scrubbers, vacuums) safely and effectively
– Apply floor finishes and sealants to maintain a polished, durable surface
– Follow all infection control and safety guidelines during cleaning procedures
– Respond promptly to spills or emergency clean-up needs
– Assist with general cleaning tasks as needed
– Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, organized work area

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred
– Previous floor tech or custodial experience strongly preferred
– Familiarity with floor care equipment, cleaning agents, and safety procedures
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required
  • Ability to unload freight, to move product on and off of store shelves, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods of time, and to move freely throughout store on a continual basis required
  • Basic English literacy and math skills required
