Job Details

We are looking for a Lease Auditor/Writer. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing leases processed by lease writers ensuring pricing objectives, contractual elements, and all other metrics have been followed in the production of lease creation. You will also review and processes the leases written pursuant to a completed application being approved by underwriting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform audits on leases in order to ensure contractual elements are fulfilled including pricing and other compliance issues.
  • Responsible for auditing and reconciling leases in order to ensure the accuracy of lease processing.
  • Produces audit reports to identify and track key metrics as determined by the department
  • lead.
  • Validate and update lease audit records ensuring compliance and that all updates have been received and processed.
  • Responsible for reviewing leases in order to ensure all variable terms of the lease agreement have been met. Calculates charges due at move-in. Generates and provides lease agreements for review. Processes lease applications after being approved by the Lease Underwriting Department.
Ideal Candidate will have…
  • 3-5 years of lease audit work experience or 3 to 5 years of accounting work experience within the real estate industry
  • Ability to research, investigate and determine reasons for discrepancies in a lease agreement

Salary:  $16.50/ hr.  
 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Strong customer service and communication skills required
  • Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required
  • Ability to unload freight, to move product on and off of store shelves, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods of time, and to move freely throughout store on a continual basis required
  • Basic English literacy and math skills required
