Quality Auditor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and visually sharp Quality Auditor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a keen artistic eye, particularly in identifying color shades and cosmetic defects. The Quality Auditor will be responsible for inspecting parts and materials at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. This includes both visual inspections and functional tests, as well as maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections for cosmetic defects, including color variation and discoloration.

• Monitor the manufacturing process at key stages to ensure quality standards are met.

• Use test equipment, measuring devices, and software to record inspection data.

• Review job tickets to ensure all specifications and material requirements are followed.

• Compile and maintain card samples for specific customers as needed.

• Conduct internal audits to identify inconsistencies or deviations from quality standards.

• Collaborate with production staff and management to resolve quality issues in real time.

• Serve as the customer’s representative in identifying and reporting quality concerns.

• Document findings clearly and maintain organized inspection records.

Qualifications:

• Strong visual acuity and ability to distinguish between shades of color and surface finishes.

• Experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing or production environment preferred.

• Proficiency in using measuring tools, inspection equipment, and basic computer systems.

• Excellent verbal communication skills and confidence in stopping production when necessary.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or quality-related training is a plus.

Preferred Attributes:

• Background in visual or color-sensitive inspection roles.

• Familiarity with quality standards and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to interpret technical documents and job specifications.
