Recruiting Coordinator

The Recruitment Coordinator position fully owns the hiring process: from opening requisitions, moving candidates thorough the recruitment process, to onboarding new hires. This position is the hub of our recruiting operations and will be an integral part of the candidate experience. This role works closely with the Recruitment team, hiring managers and candidates in a high-volume environment. Due to the nature of critical and sensitive information, records, and reports this position handles, these tasks are completed while maintaining high standards of confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Manages the background and reference check process for prospective employees; processes pre-employment background checks through online third party, acting as main point of contact between candidate and third party; monitors progress to ensure completion, answering questions and troubleshooting; escalates issues to direct manager and maintains background check log for consistency
• Oversees the requisition process to ensure all appropriate approvals and documentation are received to proceed to recruitment; follows up with managers for requisition questions or issues
• Processes offer letters for prospective employees, ensuring appropriate offer language is used based on position; obtains appropriate approval on offers letters prior to disbursement; ensures timely receipt of signed offer letters and appropriate upload within online Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
• Coordinates with recruiters to ensure candidates granted an interview receive and complete an employment application; reviews applications for completion, bringing forth concerns related to information provided; uploads applications as required within online ATS
• Creates and provides weekly and ad-hoc reports regarding open positions and other recruitment metrics upon request; performs ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the Recruiting team
• Tracks, manages and ensures all proper approvals are obtained for temporary employees placed by temporary staffing agencies; approves temporary agency invoices

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) required
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a human resources environment required
• Minimum of two (2) years of administrative/coordinator experience required
• Two (2) years of recruiting/staffing experience preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) required
• Prior experience using SilkRoad Recruiting (ATS) and/or Adobe Acrobat preferred
   

Pay: Up to $25/hr
