$2,500 Sign-On Bonus (1-Year Commitment)
Full-Time | Days | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join a growing outpatient oncology team in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to oncology patients, administer chemotherapy and infusion treatments, coordinate patient care, and support physicians in delivering exceptional cancer care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an RN with oncology and infusion experience who enjoys working in a collaborative outpatient clinic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Administer intravenous medications, infusions, injections, and chemotherapy treatments as ordered
• Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Triage patient phone calls and determine urgency of appointments and care needs
• Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and hospital admissions when appropriate
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and wellness initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Follow established protocols related to patient safety, infection control, and confidentiality
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Oklahoma RN License OR Compact Multistate RN License
• Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
• Previous Oncology Nursing experience required
• Infusion experience required
• Current BLS Certification
• Strong IV medication administration skills
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient needs in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Chemotherapy administration experience
• Experience in an outpatient oncology or infusion clinic setting
• Familiarity with EMR systems
