SHIPPING COORDINATOR

We are currently seeking a Shipping Coordinator to assist with our customer demands here in Las Vegas, Nevada. Be part of a hard working warehouse and logistics teams by assisting with packing and shipping parts, conversion orders, games, and related equipment, including verifying and maintaining records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment.

What will you be doing?

• Verify information on delivered – non inventory / personal packages against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records; Routes items to departments.
• Tracks shipments and relays pertinent info to CSRs, conversion specialists, and sales reps.
• Determines method of shipment and carrier in coordination with the Compliance Department, and Customer Service or Sales Ops, as required. Affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons.
• Assembles wood or cardboard containers or selects reassembled containers for appropriate sturdiness and shipping volume. Inserts items and applies nails/screws to covers or binds containers with metal tape.
• Stamps, stencils, or glues identifying information and shipping instructions onto craters or containers.
• Verifies compliance authorization and destination. Obtain weights, shipping charges, affixes postage, tracks in-transit or delivery, as necessary.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Examines outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications and validates order is released to ship in Pronto as well as follows delivery instructions.
• Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• Assists in providing pertinent information in the event of compliance issues and games inventory control.
• Works with packing companies, trucking firms, vendors for most efficient and cost-effective shipping methods.
• Organizes, completes, or delegates the acceptance of UPS, Fed Ex, DHL, truck or airline received goods; creates or details procedures to identify these shipments as received.
• Trains or delegates shipping and receiving clerks to unpack, ship, and enter data, as necessary.
• Receives non inventory items along with shipping instructions to process for pickup by carrier.
• Reports any discrepancies, changes or recommendations, and/or problems for resolution to senior management.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

What skills and expertise do you bring to the job?

• Associate’s degree in technology, business, manufacturing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of related experience and/or training.
• SAP, Pronto or related computer software experience.
• Forklift certification desired.
• Ability to communicate professionally and efficiently, verbal and written with all levels of the business.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain gaming licensure(s).
