Pay rate $17.00 – 1st shift – Location: 43rd and Mcdowell

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Independently operate and adjust weights on the bagger machine.
Ensure the correct type of bag is used for each product, following both verbal and written instructions.
Visually monitor bag weights to ensure they remain within specifications, making machine adjustments as necessary.
Verify that process order and expiration date stamps are present and clearly printed on bags.
Immediately report any deviations or issues to the supervisor and/or maintenance team to allow for timely corrective action.
Keep the bagging area clean and orderly at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to maintain focus and concentration for extended periods.
Strong coordination skills to work effectively with others.
Effective communication skills—both verbal and written.
Ability to follow instructions and respond positively to direction from supervisors.
Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
Commitment to working safely, respecting the safety of coworkers, and wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong customer service and communication skills required
Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required
Ability to unload freight, to move product on and off of store shelves, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods of time, and to move freely throughout store on a continual basis required
Basic English literacy and math skills required
