Job Summary – North Phoenix – $20.00+ – 3rd Shift

The Set-Up Technician supports production by installing and removing molds on injection molding machines. This role involves preparing machines, assisting process technicians, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining equipment and records. No prior experience is required, but some training or experience in plastic injection molding is helpful.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and remove molds on injection molding machines safely using tools, cranes, hoists, and forklifts.
Assist process technicians with machine operation and production runs.
Perform basic machine maintenance, clean work areas, and organize tools.
Document processes and help maintain production records.
Help with machine troubleshooting and support secondary operations as needed.
Prepare work areas for production runs (moving mats, tables, and auxiliary equipment).

Qualifications

Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
Able to lift 1–50 lbs and safely operate equipment like forklifts, cranes, and hoists.
Prefer 2+ years of experience in injection molding, but on-the-job training provided.
Basic computer skills to access training and records.
Forklift certification a plus.

Work Environment

Fast-paced, physically active environment with frequent standing, bending, lifting, and reaching.
Must follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
Strong customer service and communication skills required
Ability to work a flexible work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds required
Ability to unload freight, to move product on and off of store shelves, to walk, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel for long periods of time, and to move freely throughout store on a continual basis required
Basic English literacy and math skills required
